Tammy and her trainers look at the world
“through the eyes of mathematics and science.”
As Galileo said,
“Mathematics is the alphabet with which God wrote the universe.”
To better understand our universe, today’s students need to understand and appreciate mathematics fully. They need rich mathematical experiences that ensure that they can “make sense” of the mathematics. Students need to see that math is both fun and beautiful!
Mathematics is experiential. As educator’s it is our responsibility to create the opportunities that will support students’ success. In today’s society communication is vital. Students must have authentic opportunities outside of their ELA class to read about, write about, talk about, and communicate their experiences. As such writing and literacy permeate everything that we do.
Technology, integrated strategically at the point of instruction, as a tool of investigation, supports making challenging content accessible to many students who otherwise would find it difficult.
TLJ Consulting Group’s trainers have a passion for education, a passion for learning, and a passion for engaging students, no matter what their age. Let us share that with you.
